Meet and Greet Policy

Meet and Greets are mandatory – as they provide KPAC the opportunity to meet you, your pet(s), review your care instructions, and verify their ability to access your home while you’re gone. The initial Meet and Greet is free of charge once service is booked.  Please keep in mind that we cannot provide service until we have met you and your pet, so make sure you have time for us to stop by before you leave!  Additional Meet and Greets are billed at our regular Drop-In Visit rate.

Cancellation Policy 
Kristal’s Paws and Cuddles understands that sometimes plans change and you need to cancel your travel plans.  However, since we schedule our client’s visits so precise and turn away other clients to give each pet their desired amount of time and loving care and attention, we typically are unable to fill the empty spots a cancellation creates.  

 

Spring, Summer, and Holidays are our highest peak times! We want to take care of all the fur babies, and to do so; please be mindful of that and other clients when changing plans during these peak times.  A late cancellation is a missed opportunity for another pet. For these instances, KPAC has instituted a cancellation policy for all clients.  

 

If you cancel 72 hours or less (3 days) you will be required to pay for the pet sit visit that you have scheduled.  We offer credit to your account for visits that are canceled prior to 72 hours prior to your scheduled departure. We do not send refunds. 
 

Additionally, there are no refunds or credits for early returns or last-minute changes to pet care.  Once pet care begins, payment is due for the original dates scheduled.

 

**NOTE:  There are no cancellation fees for our DOG WALKING CLIENTS if you cancel before 8:00 AM the day of your visit. That is one of the benefits of being on our daily schedule.  We understand things happen and last-minute things come up!! If you’ve paid in advance, the walk will be rescheduled for another day.

Inclement Weather Policy
Ice and Snow-If black ice or snowy packed roads are possible during your time away you will need to have a backup plan for pet care. Kristal’s Paws and Cuddles, Ltd. adheres to the requests of local officials if they recommend staying off the roads due to dangerous conditions and no pet-sitting services will be provided if they are at risk of harm. Black ice can be hard to see especially in the early morning or after dusk hours. Skidding off the road due to weather conditions is dangerous for KPAC employees and we will do everything we can to ensure their safety.
 

Note: If you have a backup generator installed at your home for instances where your power goes out, please let us know.  Kristal’s Paws and Cuddles is not responsible for damages to your pets (including fish tanks) or to home systems (including frozen pipes) in extreme low temps caused by lack of heat or power.
 

Late Booking Policy (*Fee: $7)
If you need to book service with less than a 48-hr. notice, Kristal’s Paws and Cuddles may be able accommodate some last-minute reservations and schedule changes. OVERNIGHT STAYS MUST BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE.
